Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County (BBSVC) seeks to find the right mentor for every local child who needs or wants one. Your support makes a BIG difference in the lives of local youth and a BIG impact in your community. Your generous participation helps change a child's life for the better, forever.
Bowl for Kids' Sake is a fun and easy way to positively impact a child's life. Just follow these simple steps:
1) Start a team. Teams are formed with five or six members. Consider creating a team with family, friends, fraternity brothers, sorority sisters, or co-workers.
2) Build support for your team by reaching out. - easy with email and social media (tools provided online as you sign up) - to your friends, family, co-workers, and other associates. Each bowler is asked to raise a minimum of $100 in support for a total of $500 - $600 raised per team. Your supporters can donate to your team and may join you to bowl but are not required to attend.
Want to know the best part? All of the event expenses are completely underwritten by our corporate sponsors. That means 100% of the money raised by bowlers goes directly towards helping children served by Big Brothers Big Sisters in our community.
3) BOWL and celebrate!. After you have secured support and built your team, it's time to have fun! Reserve the location and time you prefer with BBSVC. You'll receive two free games of bowling (shoe and ball rental included!), food, drinks, chances to win prizes!

BBSVC provides youth facing adversity with strong, enduring, carefully-screened and selected, professionally-supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Data show the mentored youth BBSVC serves are more likely to stay in school - improving their educational goals, avoiding drugs and alcohol, steering clear of violent behavior, and improving their social relationships. Their perspectives broaden, they learn how to make good choices, and start on the path to fulfilling their potential. BIG thanks!
